Catch up

So I haven't really been in the mood to blog. I now sit at a desk and work at a computer all day...which means I normally want nothing to do with a computer when I get home. Here are some pictures from the last few weeks and some fun things.

We went camping in August for the night. It was Larry, my mom, Chris and me. It was fun...super cold though. Here are some of the fish we caught.

Christ is loving his new barbecue. Well so am I! He cooks me dinner every night on it. I am spoiled. Here is whole chicken...cooked just like his Dad taught him.


We got some vinyl lettering from Blooming words! You can order a lot of custom things. We love them. They are just what we wanted. They make our little apartment feel more like home. The colors match our couch perfectly and we love how big it is so it fits over the window perfect. Thank you!!!

We spend a lot of time going to Jeff and Jordan's high school football games. It is good being here so we can watch them. We are also looking forward to visiting Cali next month and seeing family and friends. Hmm...the rest is pretty boring.

Thunderstorm....

The other day there was a thunderstorm and the thunder was so loud. I tried video tapping it. It would scare me everytime hence the shaking during the thunder.

Not our first choice on where to live but we do love our little place. We have some great views from our deck and it is right next to the freeway enterance.

Her name is PAL!!!
She is the reason my wedding was perfect.
She is the reason I stayed sane for the last four years.
She is the reason I will miss Cali so bad.
She is an amazing example of hard honest work.
She is the best shopping buddy.
She is a leader, mentor, California mom and a friend!!
I had the greatest time with her for the last four years.
I could never thank her enough for everything she has done for me!!!

First month of married life...

We both started our jobs!!! Here is Chris his first day...His office.

Chris seems to like his job. He is doing a lot of the same thing he did in Cali. My job is good. A little getting used to since it is a lot more quiet but a good change. We are both just so thankful to have our positions. We also have the same hours working Monday - Friday 7-3:30 so we get to carpool almost every day. No weekends so we get to do a lot of fun things.

It is so nice having weekends off to play. We are hoping to go back to Yellowstone and Wyoming soon. We would also like to go camping and to the Southern Utah area. Okay and down another river and maybe Jackson.

That is a quick summary of our first month married. We've had so much fun but are ready for life to get a little less busy.

Honeymoon and coming home...to Utah!

The first night we were married we stayed in Tahoe. After that we went up to Tahoe for three nights. After a busy few weeks I was so nice just to hang out.

Then home to UTAH!!!
We got so lucky and my family moved our stuff into our apartment. With that of course came a trashed apartment. I took pictures after most of it was cleaned up. These pictures don't do it justice. However it was still so nice of them!
