Typical weekend full of adventure...

Some might think I have a crazy life but I think it is so much fun. Life seems so busy most of the time so when I get a chance to play it better make it worth it. This weekend was no exception.

Friday I had my first encounter with Sushi. I still don't know if I liked it or not. I also don't know what was in the one that I tried. I will have to try it again some day so I can say what I think. It wasn't awful like I thought it would be.

I ate the green one.

Then on Saturday after work we went to the demolition derby. Call me white trash all you want. I loved it!! It is like all out bumper cars. It was so much fun!!! Here are some of the pictures so you can share in my excitement.

I picked this orange car. It didn't win.

I was cold. Isn't it suppose to be warm in Cali??

Next adventure is getting to drive to Utah on Wednesday. Then Idaho for Thursday night, Friday and Saturday morning. Then back to Cali on Sunday. Lots of driving but it will be worth it.

VEGAS!!

These are pictures from my amazing trip to Vegas. I had the best time ever. We were able to see Phantom of the Opera, get pedicures, eat lots of food, spend lots of money, lots of shopping, we walked the strip, we rented funny cars, we got scammed, went to a movie and laughed the whole trip.

I went with some great friends. Two that I've had for more than half my life and one that one day I will be able to say that about. I even got to see a good friend that lives down there. These girls are the greatest and I can't wait for next years trip. Hopefully next year we will have everyone there. Thanks girls for a great time!!!

PS...three days and fuzzy balls!

Two years and counting...

So this month I realized I have lived in California for two years. What an amazing adventure I've had. I remember moving out here thinking I would be here for one year and leave when my contract was up. I have loved living out here so much that time has passed so quickly.

Here are a few of the milestones from my time out here

December 2005 I hear that the Willey (RC to be exact) was building a store in Sacramento California.

January 2006 after a week of training the Reno store Court Suz and I drive to Sacramento to check it out. Driving in to town I realize this was the place for me. Crazy...I went from never wanting to leave Utah to California so quick.

May 7th 2006 I make the big move and drive out to California with Suz. Same day I meet Tami and Tammy. One would become my roommate the other my manager.

May 8th I got to see the store that will become my life. Also we go to the post office to set up a mailbox. This is the first time I hear "Oh you're from Utah?? That is where all those Mormons are."

The Month of May was a crazy adventure. From job fairs to setting things up. It was amazing to see so many things come together so quick.

June 6th We open to the public. It was a crazy fun day!!!

June to December I basically live at the store.

February 2007 I was called to be a ward missionary

August 2008 I got the General Office Manager position

January 2008 I started school.

I have enjoyed being here so much. I have learned more about myself that I think any other two year time period. I know where I am from and where I am going. I have meet some of the greatest people I know. They are constantly teaching me to be less judgemental and more patient. I am pretty sure I work in the best office possible that everyone makes a difference. I have a few ideas but we shall see!! Thank you everyone who has made the last two years so great. I am excited to see what the next year will bring and where I will end up.

Tag...you are it!!

I was tagged by Mindy so here it goes:

The rules of the game: Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 3 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
