More funny Cali things...

Here are more Cali things since I am still updating

Cali also says more (a lot).  She tries to repeat things you say and she is working on I love you.  It sounds more like wuve you.

Her daddy taught her to sit in a chair and just chill.  If you ask her if she is chillin she will sit back and cross her arms on her chest.  Also if you tell her one minute she will put up a finger and try saying it.  She is obsessed with Shoes and always wants them on. She has just started her crinkled nose smile.  She loves to shake her booty and will shake it when she hears music.  She loves to give you knuckles instead of high fives.  She loves to throw things too.  She has a pretty good arm.

She eat everything.  Some of her favorites have been eggs, tomatoes, all fruit, rice and crackers.  She will eat anything and everything!

She is a tough girl.  She thinks she can climb up and down the stairs standing up.  Nothing gets in her way.  She will move it, step over it, climb it or whatever she needs to do.

Cali is more independant every day.  We love her so much and are having fun watching her grow too fast.  Her vocabulary is growing everyday.  She can now say..side for outside, bottle (she said nuna before for food but can say exactly what she wants now) book, down, please, thank you, nana for banana, jackson. Now that I plan to keep up this blog I know there is words I forgot.  I will add them as I remember.   She loves to give kisses and has mastered the smacking sound of the lips.
If you tell her no she blows you a kiss then starts doing it again.  She says please to get what she wants.  She throws tons of tantrums and we laugh at them.  She loves to be read too still.  She loves wrestling with her daddy and waiting outside for him to come home!  She climbs on everything and runs every where.  She loves to move her feet really fast and does it when we say happy feet.  She loves when she is far is acrossed the room as you tell her ready set go...she will put her arms back like a penguin and run.  If you say faster faster she will speed up.  She loves to play ring around the rosys and will try to sing rock a bye baby with you.   She seriously is learning something new everyday.  Love you Cali girl to the moon and back!

Zoo in September

The first of September we went to the Hogel Zoo. Cali seemed to love it. Sometimes she was more distracted by the kids but it was a great day with the family. So worth the money.   This ball with water was probably her favorite part.

This bird show was probably her second favorite part.  She was excited by it.  She watched so intently.  She knows bird too so she was excited by them.

Three big events that I dont want to forget to blog about....

First my little sister Mercedes got married.  She married a guy she had dated a while named Tyler.  We adore him and are so excited for them.  They make a great couple and are so great for each other!

In April my brother Skylier and his girlfriend Brittany had a beautiful little girl named London!  We love her!
 Kisses for cousin!

Then I had two siblings graduate.  Sister Shaunee...Validictorian from West Yellowstone
And brother Jeffrey from Westlake High School
I am so proud of them both!!!

Ashton Island Park Yellowstone Camping....with a 5k mixed in

In August we went up to Ashton Idaho to run a 5k and go camping with my family. It was a blast. No pictures from the race. The race was one of my least favorite. Betweeen the cold and my diet not being that great it was a hard one. However I made my miles under ten minutes and dropped my time so it was fun!
Then we went and toured Island park.

The next day we played in the park with Cali girl.  She is becoming so independant.

Here are some pictures of her camping.  Dad let her play with the snack.  Also cant miss her camping hair!

Even though Cali girl got sick the last night it was so fun to see the family and camp.  Plus my littls sis Shaunee is now off to college so it was fun to see her before she left.  She is so smart and will do a great job at Whitworth!

Mommy and Daddy!

A little update on Chris and I.

Chris got a new job working with my brother installing internet.  He loves it so far.  He likes everything he is learning and having some freedom.  He "had" to get a truck for work and loves having a truck around finally.  He has also been busy trying to help make our yard more Cali friendly.  Here are some pictures from the yard this summer.
He tore up all the grass that was down...flattened it out and then laid sod.

This is after Jackson chewed up some of it.  LOVE IT THOUGH!  We will have more work next summer but this was a good start
This is a picture of our BEAUTIFUL fence.  Okay it is probably only beautiful to me.  I like our neighbors but it is nice to have our backyard closed in.

I have am still working at the Willey and I enjoy it.  One day I will get a real job.  I like the people I work with and the flexibility though so I am fine with being a lifer for now.  Also i went on a diet...finally..and started running.  I did the couch to 5K program and loved it.  It helped me gradually work up to running a 5K.  Also I had my step mom Shellie to help keep me motivated.  It was nice to have someone to keep me going and asking me to report my results.  We ran two 5ks this summer.  We both were able to drop a few minutes the second time.  We wer also joined by bobbie and my dad.  Silly boys dont train and do awesome but it was so worth the training.  I cant say I love training but I love the feeling after a run.  Who knew I could run.  Here are some before and after pictures from my health program and race pictures.

Feeling healthy and so much better!  Loving life!

My running buddy.  However she rides in the stroller and not in my arms!
More races to come!  So excited for the healthy living!
