SHE IS WEARING 5-8LB NEWBORN CLOTHES AND NEW BORN DIAPERS STILL.

SHE IS A SUPER HAPPY BABY AND WE LOVE HER!

Weight: 7lbs 6 ounces (25th percentile)

Length: 19 inches (60th percentile)
Born at 9:22 pm

It was a great day! We went to the hospital at 7 in the morning to be induced. I was dilated to a 3 and 80% effaced when we got there. Within the hour I was on the pitocin and they had broke my water. There wasn't much progress until like five and I started to dilate faster. The epidural helped but gave me cramps in my back. The cramps hurt worse than the epidural so by the end I could feel the contractions again. By eight I was pushing. Pushing went fast and she was here just over a hour later. Even though it was a long day it went by so fast and it was so worth it!!!!

I LOVE Christopher Matthew Riddell!!!!

We celebrated our one year anniversary June 25Th and I can honestly say this has been the greatest year!

In the last year we have got married, moved to Utah, got new work positions, bought a house and endured nine months of pregnancy. There is no one else I would want on this journey with me. Chris is the most understanding and loving husband. He is my best friend and makes me so happy. I love him more and more every day! I cant wait for the this next year and the new adventure it will put us on.

I LOVE YOU CHRISTOPHER!!!!!

Baby is coming soon!!! We are so excited! She is in position and the doctor said we are just waiting for more progress. He thinks she will come before our appointment Wednesday. However he said really anytime she could come. CRAZY!!! We have told her to come Saturday or Sunday but we will see how well she listens. :)

Here is a poem a friend shared with me (thanks Karie)...it seriously makes me cry everytime. I cant wait to hold Baby Cali!!!! We love her so much already.

A baby asked God,"They tell me you are sending me to earth tommorrow,but how am i going to live there being so small and helpless?"

The child further inquired"But tell me,here in heaven i dont have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy."

Chris took some time off from the house and fixed some car parts with the assistance of my dad. My dad claims he just watched and handed him things but I know Chris really appreciated his help! Sorry I didn't take any pictures when he was under the car or the new parts in but there are in and working.

Between the house and the car he has saved us hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Everything we need done he will research online and work at it until it is done. I seriously think he is the greatest and I am so lucky to be married to him!
